Have you heard of Electromagnetic Fields?

Electromagnetic Fields (EMF) are created from current flowing or in physics terms--voltage. These are radioactive and invisible to the naked eye. These radioactive waves can occure naturally (like sunlight) or man-made (x-rays, cell phones, etc.). With the increase of technology, power usage, and scanning imagery, we have more exposure to these potentially harmful EMF.
Research varies on wether or not exposure to EMF can be detrimental to your health but if you look at it as energy and understand it from molecular level, it can be cause for concern.
Energy interects with energy on a cellular and molecular level. Radioactive energy has been correlated to disruption of normal, healthy cell function in human bodies for centuries. Sunburn, at its most basic level, and now, cancer, at the highest level. With cancer rates soaring, there is now more reason to be preventative with reducing and limiting our exposure to these potentially harmful EMF.
THIS POST IS NOT MEANT TO CAUSE PARANOIA.
I am simply sharing my own persepctives and educational understanding of environmental aspects that can have a negative impact on our health. So no, I won't be fear mongering you into beliving expsure to sunlight will kill you. Its natural, iit'sneeded for healthy functions in the body, and it just makes you feel good. What I do mean to portray is that the accumulative exposure we face by daily radiation from cell phones, computers, wifi, powerlines, bluetooth, etc, this can start to greatly impact our health in ways we can't even notice.
Some symtoms of EMF exposure range from anxiety, sleep disruption, headaches to the most severe, cancer. While its hard to rule ONE thing as the root disruption to our health, the growing interference of many variables (EMF, chemical additives in foods, PFAs, chronic stress, etc), working to reduce their impact on your health can be done by taking these simple, non-stressful steps.
Plug-in cellphones at least 4-6 feet away from your bed.
Reduce usage of bluetooth headphones or get the corded variety.
Get exposure to natural sunlight and use hats, sunglasses, and light colored, natural fibers like linen for sun protection.
Share imaging results between health providers to reduce doubling exposure.
Ask to opt out of the body scan at TSA and use the metal detector. They will most likely require additional screening so give yourself extra time.
Use EMF blocking stickers to reduce direct and daily exposure to radiation.
Black tourmaline has properties that can absorb and convert harmful energy such as EMF. This can be worn as jewelry or simply placed around the home in places where people congregate or devices are in abundance.
Live a lifestyle that decreases stress, eat foods that are balancing to the body and support your mind with practices such as meditation and yoga.
I hope you found this blog useful and at least, leading you to get more curious about how your environment can either be helpful or harmful to your health. I will be listing sources at the bottom if you want to learn more about EMF. I have also included information I cannot directly site as it is from years of college classes in physics and other natural sciences, as well as my own study through books and articles.
As always, please send any questions or comments my way!
Be well,
Grace Lee
