We are in the second week of January and I don't know about but I'm on the hunt for some new recipes--soup recipes!
Why soup? You'll see plenty of soups and stews being served up by Ayurvedic Health Professionals because Fall/Winter is Vata season. Vata dosha has the qualities that are dry, light, and rough so to balance the season, we bring in the opposite: moist, heavy, and smooth.
SOUP!
It makes the perfect dinner to ease your digestion and it also makes cooking time much simpler. I'm all for the quick meals with a house full of kids and multiple businesses being run under one house.
For this week, I have offered 7 new recipes to try. Some of them being soup and some being a snack! We don't offer snacks all the time but when hunger hits, it's better to be prepared with something nourishing instead of reaching for the processed foods.
